WristBuddy

Your phone's status,
on your wrist.

Battery, charging, network, motion, silent, Focus, lock state, distance — every iPhone or Android device-state row, glanceable from your Apple Watch or Wear OS watch. Pay once. No cloud. No account. No tracking.

iPhone + Apple Watch is in App Store review. Android + Wear OS lands next. Sign up to hear when each ships.

Privacy by design

All data stays on your two paired devices via your platform's official watch-pairing API. Zero servers, zero analytics, zero third-party SDKs.

Cross-platform

iPhone + Apple Watch first; Android + Wear OS next. Same design, same feature set, native on each platform — no Electron, no hybrid wrappers.

One-time payment

Buy Pro once, own it. No subscriptions, no surprise charges, no annual upsell. Free tier always works — Pro adds the granular rows.

What WristBuddy shows you

A clean glanceable list of your phone's current state, on the wrist where you'd actually look first:

  • Battery — exact percent on Pro; range on Free
  • Charging — is the phone plugged in right now
  • Wi-Fi / Cellular — connected status of each
  • Motion — is the phone being carried right now
  • Silent — is the ringer off
  • Lock state — is the phone locked (encryption-protected) right now
  • Focus / Do Not Disturb — is the phone in a focus mode
  • Distance — how far from your watch is the phone (UWB-equipped devices)
  • Battery alerts — opt-in notifications at thresholds you choose
  • Locator ring — make your phone ring even on silent, from the watch
  • Find-my-watch — buzz your watch from the phone with a custom haptic pattern

Frequently-asked questions

Why no subscription?

Because "check the status of the thing you already own" isn't a service. It's an app. Subscriptions make sense when there's ongoing server cost — WristBuddy has none. One purchase, indefinite use.

Where is my data stored?

On your phone and your watch only. Both devices already talk to each other over the platform's secure peer-to-peer channel (Apple's WatchConnectivity / Google's Wearable Data Layer). WristBuddy uses that channel and nothing else. Read the full privacy policy for specifics.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. Once both apps are installed, the phone↔watch link uses Bluetooth or your local Wi-Fi — no internet needed.

What about Apple Health / Google Fit data?

Not accessed. WristBuddy reads only what the platform exposes as device-state (battery, charging, network, etc.) — never personal-health data. No HealthKit or HealthConnect entitlement is requested.
